Event Manager - Rob Roy Thames Canoe Rally
www.robroyrally.co.uk
An event manager is required for this event to get more people to paddle the whole non-tidal Thames (all 123 miles) participating in the Rob Roy Rally. This is a real opportunity to make a difference and prove yourself which should develop some real track record for a CV and other jobs.
This is a summer (holiday?) job. There is some funding, but mostly payment will by your success in generating participants.
The event is a core fund raising event for the charity
Age Unlimited, who need this event to be a big success over the years.
Everything for this rally is in place and the event has been in existence for some years now. The period to do the rally continues over the whole of the summer.
