The BCU Coaching Strategy Group (CSG) met on 3rd October and discussed the importance of promoting the upcoming survey to find out the needs of people who are canoeing across the UK as part of the ongoing work on the Paddler Development Model (PDM).
Additional work was agreed to move forward the Coach Development Model (CDM). Awards were approved for Kayak Fishing. The CSG were particularly pleased to note the progress being made in England and Wales to develop leadership / supervisory awards.
